Download TikTok Videos on iPhone — Save to Files or Photos

An MP4 saved on your iPhone may appear in Files rather than Photos. Here is how to download it and find the saved copy.

Copy the video link and prepare your MP4

  1. Open a video you own or have permission to save in TikTok.
  2. Tap Share, then Copy link. Copy the individual post, not the creator’s profile.
  3. Open TikSavo in your browser, paste the link, and tap Get video.
  4. Wait for the preview. Play a few seconds to check the result, then tap Download MP4.
  5. If your browser asks you to confirm the download, confirm it and wait for the transfer to finish.

Find the video in Files

Open the Files app and look for Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone. The location depends on your browser settings. Your browser’s download list may also let you open the saved file directly.

Move the video to Photos

Open the completed MP4 in Files, tap Share, and look for Save Video. If that option is available, it saves a copy to Photos. Keeping a file in Files does not automatically add it to your photo library.

If the video opens instead of downloading

Use the player’s Share menu and look for Save to Files or Save Video. The available options depend on your browser and iOS version. If the page opened inside another app, try the same link in your regular browser.

If the file is missing or incomplete

Check available storage and your internet connection. Return to the downloader and prepare the link again if the temporary download has expired. Avoid repeatedly tapping Download while a transfer is already running.
