How to download long TikTok videos

A longer video can take more time to prepare and save than a short clip. TikSavo currently accepts public videos up to 60 minutes and files up to 500 MB. Both limits apply, and a download still depends on the source and server availability.

Save a long video step by step

  1. Open the original TikTok post and confirm it plays. Copy the individual video link using Share → Copy link.
  2. Paste it into TikSavo and select Get video once.
  3. Leave the page open during preparation. If you select Download MP4 while preparation is running, the page queues the save for when the file is ready.
  4. Check the preview when available. If you have not queued the download, select Download MP4 to start saving.
  5. Wait for the browser to finish, then open the file from its Downloads list. Check the end of the video as well as the beginning.

Why a video under 60 minutes can still fail

Duration and file size are different limits. A detailed, high-resolution video can exceed 500 MB even when it is much shorter than 60 minutes. A source may also omit duration information, refuse a request, or stop serving a file.

TikSavo does not automatically split or compress a video to bypass these limits. The processing window is also limited, so an unusually slow source can time out before the download is ready. These limits describe what the service accepts, not a guarantee that every eligible video can be downloaded.

Preparation and saving are two separate waits

First, the service retrieves the video and prepares a temporary file. Then your browser transfers that file to your device. A preview can be ready before the full file has finished saving.

Keep a stable connection and enough free storage. Large files can also put pressure on a phone’s browser memory. If short clips work but a large file repeatedly fails on your phone, try the same link on a computer. Do not repeatedly submit the link while the first request is running.

What to do after a failed attempt

Does a longer video change watermark or quality?

No special watermark removal or quality upgrade happens because a video is longer. TikSavo requests an available MP4; a clean version depends on the source. See watermark and quality availability and the TikTok to MP4 guide.

For other errors, follow the TikTok download troubleshooting steps. Use the downloader for your own content or content you have permission to save.
