TikTok to MP4: save a video from its link

TikSavo lets you download an available MP4 from a public TikTok video link for free. You do not need a TikSavo account, a browser extension, or a separate converter.

How to download a TikTok video as MP4

1. Open the individual TikTok video you own or have permission to save. Select Share → Copy link.
2. Open the free TikTok video downloader and paste the link. Full video URLs and short sharing links from vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com are supported.
3. Select Get video. Keep the page open while the file is prepared. Preparation time depends on the video, the source, and server availability.
4. Play the preview to check the picture and audio, then select Download MP4. Wait for the transfer to finish before closing the page.

What “TikTok to MP4” means here

A TikTok link opens a web page. An MP4 is a video file you can keep on your device and open in a compatible player. TikSavo retrieves an available MP4 from the source; it does not turn a profile, a text link, or a photo slideshow into a new video.

You do not need to rename a downloaded file to .mp4. Changing a file extension does not convert its contents. If you receive an error page instead of a playable video, copy the original TikTok link again and prepare a fresh download.

Will the MP4 have a watermark or HD quality?

A file with no TikTok watermark is available when the source provides one. Branding or captions embedded by the creator can remain. Read the no watermark download guide before saving.

TikSavo requests the best available MP4. Resolution and sound depend on the source, so an HD or 4K result is not guaranteed. Downloading does not restore missing audio or add detail to a low-resolution upload. This tool saves video; it does not offer a separate MP3 download.

Where to find your saved MP4

On iPhone, start with the Files app and its Downloads folder. Saving to Files does not automatically add the video to Photos. The iPhone guide explains the next steps.
